Featuring a new collection of scarves by Weiss + Mizani, which is a collaboration between artist, Dina Weiss and fashion designer, Laaleh Mizani. This line of scarves directly references previous works by Weiss, a video installation in 2001 and the limited edition artists’ book, Urban Cataloguing, from 2003. The imagery is generated through photographic documentation of city architecture, then the patterns are archived with a QR code to provide the location. The softening of the urban landscape through the use of textiles encourages city dwellers to contemplate their own relationship to their environment. Size: 70" (L) x 16" (W) inches. 100% silk.
