Drop Bank is an old-fashioned money bank made of glazed ceramic. It is totally enclosed except for the small coin slot. To summarize the artist: the idea is inspired by the natural phenomenon of gravity that never fails to surprise us: a shiny drop of water which the heavier it gets, the faster it falls to the floor and collapses. The shape and the name communicate themselves in a poetic way, suggesting how to interact with the object from beginning to end: start dropping coins and when it's full and heavy, simply 'drop the drop' to get the thrill of breaking an object and surprise by your own fortune.
