Kate Samphier is a contemporary Scottish textile designer specializing in hand knit accessories for the home, women and babies. She started her own company in 2000 with the idea of bringing the long-standing craft of knitting into contemporary life through her graphic, linear designs and sharp sense of style. Colors can be soft, pastel blues, pinks and greens or bold mulberry and indigo. Traditional craft meets modern knitting technology. Each piece is made-to-order and hand crafted from knitting to finishing using Scottish knitters and the finest lamb’s wool.
